How do I get to Cornell Tech?
Cornell Tech is at 2 West Loop Road on Roosevelt Island, in the East River, and the campus is open daily from 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Full directions, maps, and the latest transit schedules are on the Cornell Tech visitor page. The easiest ways in:
  • Subway — take the M train (weekdays, 6 a.m.–9:30 p.m.) or the F train (weekends and late nights) to the Roosevelt Island stop, then walk about 0.3 miles south on West Road — about 20 minutes door-to-door from Midtown.
  • Roosevelt Island Tramway — catch the Tram at 59th Street and 2nd Avenue in Manhattan; campus is just south of the Queensboro Bridge tram station. The crossing itself takes about 3 minutes; with the walk, allow 20 minutes or so from Midtown.
  • NYC Ferry — the Astoria route lands just east of campus — about 15 minutes from East 34th Street, then a 5-minute walk.
  • Bus — the Q102 connects Roosevelt Island with Long Island City and Astoria in Queens — about 15–20 minutes from Astoria.
